Glimmerglass State Park rests on the shores of Otsego Lake off Route 31
south of US 20 in the East Springfield area. It is just 3 miles from The
Meadowlark Inn.

Visitors to Glimmerglass State Park enjoy fishing, a boat launch, a beautiful
swimming beach, children's playground, nature trails, multi-use trails,
picnicking, viewing wildlife & viewing plant life.

This state park gained in popularity as the result of James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales.
Otsego Lake is a featured attraction at this lovely woodland park that is home to a variety of wildlife
and plant life. The Hyde Hall Mansion, Covered Bridge and Beaver Pond Nature Center draw
thousands of visitors each year. A plethora of recreation sports are enjoyed year-round.
